Back
It's been a long time but there's been a lot going on and finally I'm having an opportunity to post.
During the last four years after our move to Washington we have had one good year to start building up the business again only to be twarted by a pandemic and a tumor in my right hand. I have been working at my job all along but haven't been unable to physically work on sculptures until my hand had healed after major reconstructive surgery. In that time I made friends with the owner of Central Glass, which is in Centralia Washington. Kevin and I have been collaborating on some new stuff which you should be able to find on my Instagram page where we mix steel with glass. I'm still a beginner at Glass Blowing but I am enjoying every minute of learning the process and also collaborating with Kevin on the few pieces that I have completed this far.
In addition we have been awarded a spot on a pillar in the downtown Olympia boardwalk which will be there for one year for the town and city to enjoy. This was a big coup For us considering that this sculpture was a combination of a commission that never happened and a potential collaboration that the pandemic kept from happening. Keep an eye out on my Instagram page for photographs of the octopus and squid sculpture on the boardwalk.
